Crazy Days is back and loaded with all kinds of activities starting Thursday, July 26. Sales begin throughout the city at 7AM and continue Friday and Saturday. Around 35 merchants will be taking part. The Owatonna Business Partnership web site has a lost of those participating.

Now on to the events. Thursday there will be a free melon feed along with food drive from 5-8PM. A car show on Cedar from 5-7PM and one of the monster trucks from the upcoming July 28 show will be present as well. The dunk tank will be set up downtown with community leaders, coaches and politicians ready to get soaked. The 11 at 7 concert series will feature the Owatonna Community Band at 7PM followed by Christmas in July at around 8PM. The OHS Carolers along with long time former director Roger Tenney will be performing your favorite carols. This is part of a fund raiser for the Hometown Holidays Weekend lighting revamp.

The children's parade begins at 10 on Friday with lineup by the Kitchen and then onto Central Park where a number of games have been set up. Dress the kids up in a Pirate theme for a chance to win prizes. the Crazy Hair contest will be Friday at 11AM in Central Park.

Other attractions include a pickleball demo, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, kiddie train, face painting petty zoo and more. There will be a Pillsbury Variety Show on the stage at 1PM on Friday.

And the savings continue on Saturday. Come on out and take in all the activities next week.
