Monday, June 13, will be the day to check out the new Jaycee Park Pavilion. There will be an open house starting at 7PM. The seven acres for the park was purchased from the state in 1963 for $825.

City Council President Les Abraham will deliver the welcome at 7PM followed by comments from Parks and Recreation Board President Judd Dingmann. Corky Ebeling, director of parks, recreation and government buildings, will follow. The ribbon cutting will take place at 7:30PM. Kwik Trip cookies and juice will be served.

The new Pavilion features new American with Disabilities Act compliant bathrooms. It will also have a concession booth and storage space.

The address is 631 Rice Lake Street in Owatonna. Come on out and check out the new Pavilion.
