Catholic Schools week will be observed by St. Mary's School in Owatonna next week, February 1-5.

Principal Kathleen Segna said this year's theme is the celebration of Faith, Knowledge and Service. A core value will be observed each school day:

  • Monday: learning
  • Tuesday: leading
  • Wednesday: praying
  • Thursday: giving
  • Friday: loving

The school will kick off Catholic Schools Week with an open house in the Jerry Kent Gym on Sunday, January 31. Teachers will be set up in the gym and available to answer questions any parents of prospective students may have. The open house runs from 10AM to 12:30PM. There will also be a pancake breakfast served from 8AM to 12:30PM for a donation.

Parents of St. Mary's students are invited to meet in the Sacred Heart Social Hall on February 11 at 6:30PM. There will be an update on the floor project along with a question and answer session. An announcement as to the kickoff of a funding project for the floor will be made.
