To mark the start of the baseball season, the Owatonna Bullpen Club is running the Cashwise Foods food stand Monday and Tuesday.

Hours of the food stand at Cashwise Foods in Owatonna are 11AM to 6PM on Monday and Tuesday, April 13 and 14. They are grilling Cashwise "Signature" brats and hot dogs. The cost is just $2 apiece.

Baseball season has arrived for the Minnesota Twins, who are holding their home opener on Monday versus the defending American League pennant winners from Kansas City. The Twins opened with a tough 1-5 road trip and hope for some home cooking at Target Field. The teams are off on Tuesday, but play Wednesday and Thursday. Cleveland comes to Minneapolis this weekend. All Twins games are broadcast on KRFO AM 1390.

Owatonna High School baseball is also underway with its season. The Huskies scored a 2-1 eight-inning win over Rochester Century last Friday. On Saturday Northfield topped Owatonna 10-5 in a game that also went eight innings. On Tuesday OHS plays at Faribault. The game starts at 5PM and can be heard on KRFO AM 1390 and on the radioPup app.

Make plans to attend the St. Paul Saints barnstorming game in Owatonna on Saturday, May 16, as they face a team of Owatonna Aces and Southern Minny all-stars. Tickets are available at Owatonna Park and Recreation offices.
