New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva graduate Carlie Wagner earned her second straight Big Ten honor while helping the Gophers to their 20th win of the season.

Wagner landed "Freshman of the Week" honors for the second straight time by averaging 17 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in wins over Wisconsin and Penn State. She is averaging 12 points per game on the season and has the second-most three-pointers. Wagner is shooting 47.5 percent.

 

 

Gopher senior forward Shae Kelley was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after averaging 28 points and 11 rebounds in the team's victories over the past week.

 

Minnesota closes out its home schedule this week with No. 13 Iowa on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and Michigan Saturday at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
