Country artists are all about the pranks. In fact, tour pranks are a rite of passage, and on a recent tour stop during Brantley Gilbert's Black Out Tour, Canaan Smith had some fun in store for Michael Ray.

As Ray was singing his heartfelt "Real Men Love Jesus," Smith and his crew walked out, fittingly dressed like Jesus. Ray shared a short video clip of the moment on his personal Instagram page.

"Remember that time @canaansmith and his crew dressed like Jesus on the #blackouttour," Ray writes as the caption for the video.

In the clip, the audience goes wild as Smith and friends walk out in white robes and long beards portraying Jesus.

Smith is far from the first artist to pull a prank on his fellow tourmate. Last month, Carrie Underwood played a special prank on Easton Corbin for his birthday. “Ladies and gentleman, please welcome to the stage Easton Corbin!” she said with a big smile as he took the stage.

Corbin then rose from the stage below and began to sing when his mic cut out — or, really, was cut off. Underwood, laughing, reappeared beside him to conduct the venue in a singalong of “Happy Birthday.”

It was all in good fun, and Corbin captured the mic mishap on video, which he shared with fans on his Instagram. Underwood later shared the video, wishing her tourmate a Happy Birthday.
