Ryan Radke a Consumer Science teacher and Wrestling coach at Byron High School, recently was contacted by two former students, asking him what he was doing on September 15.

Courtney and Vic Austin, 2011 and 2012 graduates of Byron, wanted him to perform their wedding ceremony. Courtney had been a wrestling team manager and had taken Radke's classes and Vic had taken classes as well.

The held  an intimate size wedding, just 40 people. Radke had been ordained on line for a cousin's wedding. And it was exciting for him to get to do a second wedding. And it was the 5th wedding he was invited to this year for former students.

According to the Rochester Post Bulletin, Radke gave a message that played off the couple's love for Minnesota sports teams. Saying that win or loose most of us are always Vikings fans. And that when you are married in good and bad times you have to remember why you chose to be with the person you are with.

The couple said he "rocked" the event. And his message hit home.
