Action will be fierce at the grandstand during the Steele County Fair in Owatonna during Aug. 18-23.

The line-up at the grandstand opens with bull riding on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 7:30PM. Tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for preteens and and free for kids 5 and younger. The night also includes mutton bustin' and calf dressing. Those interested in participating need to fill out a waiver form.

A big night of music is on tap for Wednesday, Aug. 19. The night begins with the Battle of the Bands at 5:30PM. Six bands from southern Minnesota compete for a cash prize. The country music band Lost Highway performs at 8PM.

Thursday, Aug. 20, Hairball takes the stage for their energetic show at 7:30PM. Tickets go on sale at 6:30PM. Adults are $20. Preteens are $10.

An NTPA tractor pull roars in front of the grandstand Friday, Aug. 21, at 7:30PM. Tickets are $16 for adults and $11 for preteens. A pit pass at the back gate is $20.

Saturday, Aug. 22 begins with the antique tractor pull at 8:30AM. An enduro auto race zips around the track at 6PM. Adult tickets are $14. Preteens pay $11. A pit pass is $20.

The last grandstand event is a demolition derby Sunday, Aug. 22, at 4PM. Tickets are $15 for adults, $11 for preteens and $20 for a pit pass.
