Brooktree in Owatonna Hosts Free Movie October 14 and Golf Specials for Remainder of the Season

After a chilly blast on Wednesday, some nice golfing weather should return by Thursday. Brooktree Golf Course in Owatonna invites you out for specials and a free movie.

Friday night, October 14, Brooktree will show the movie Tin Cup on the patio. The 1996 movie stars Kevin Costner and Rene Russo. There is no charge to attend. The fire pit will be going and Master's Bar and Grille will have beverage specials all night.

According to the Rotten Tomatoes website, Tin Cup is the story of a washed up golfer (Costner) who owns a driving range in the middle of nowhere in Texas. He tries to return the PGA Tour to win the heart of the girlfriend (Russo) of a former rival of his, played by Don Johnson. The movie gets a 69 percent positive rating on the Tomatometer.
