Brooktree Golf Course opens Thursday, April 2, at noon. Spring hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Located at 1369 Cherry St. in Owatonna, Brooktree is considered to be one of the finest municipal golf courses in southern Minnesota. It is an 18-hole course covering about 6,400 yards. Memberships are available.
League golf begins in late April and there are still openings. Contact the clubhouse for details. There are a few changes to the leagues this year. Click here to review details.

- June 20: Young Life tournament
- June 29: Exchange Club tournament
- July 6: Junior golf program begins
- July 11: Ken Bey tournament to benefit the OHS football program
- Aug. 7-8-9: VFW state tournament
- Aug. 31: Elks tournament
The clubhouse features a remodeled kitchen. New items this year include pizza, fresh-cut fries, build your own burgers and Belgian waffles.
