After weeks of teasing his forthcoming holiday album, Brett Eldredge has revealed that an album full of Christmas classics and an original song will be available sometime this October.

Titled Glow, a press release states that the album will include "timeless Christmas standards," as well as feature a duet with Meghan Trainor. Additionally, the album title Glow comes from a new track Eldredge penned specifically for the project.

"I originally had the idea for a song called ‘Glow’ as the vision of someone you love, making your whole world light up,” Eldredge explains. “It captures the simplicity of sitting next to the dimly lit Christmas tree and watching her glow in the lights. There’s a line where I compare that to the image of ‘sunshine over a field of snow.’ I grew up in Illinois and there’s no mistaking the beauty of the countryside with covered in snow. And I always try and compare those beautiful things in life to love."

Eldredge adds that he always had a vision of "a really bright album" and hopes that his holiday release will make listener's heart and soul glow.

"I always use the word magic when it comes to Christmas, but that’s the feeling that Glow gives me when I hear it," he says. "So it just seemed like the perfect title for a Christmas album."

Eldredge worked with producers Rob Mounsey (Elton John, James Taylor, Idina Menzel, Michael Bublé) and Jay Newland (Etta James, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton) for the release. He recorded Glow at Avatar Studios in New York, which is the home of recording for many A-list artist like Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Billy Joel, Iggy Pop, Madonna and David Bowie.

No track listing or official release date has been made available.
