Brantley Gilbert is already feeling the success of his 2017 The Devil Don't Sleep Tour, and now he's added additional dates to the cross-country gig.

The original leg of the tour kicked off on Feb. 2 in Reading, Pa., and had plans to wrap up on April 29. The new dates keep Gilbert and crew on the road through the summer. The additional leg consists of 26 stops, kicking off June 2 in Tampa, Fla., and continuing through early fall when the tour wraps up on Sept. 23 in Raleigh, N.C. The new leg also includes a stop in Ontario, Canada on Aug. 12. Tucker Beathard, Tyler Farr, "Hurricane" singer Luke Combs and more are hitting the road with the star as supporting acts during select dates.

“These shows in the arenas are so loud and so wild. You almost can’t hold that energy in the building, but come summer — when we take it outside — it’s a whole other kind of deal when we get outside with the BG Nation,” Gilbert says in a press release about the tour. “There are so many different ways to do this come warm weather. And I like ’em all … [W]hen we take it outside, it’s just good, and we have the party of the summer everywhere we go.”

The Devil Don't Sleep Tour supports Gilbert's album of the same name that was released on Jan. 27. "The Weekend" singer opens up to Taste of Country in an in-depth interview about the project, calling it a reflection of a chapter of his life.

"Contrary to the title, it’s the most positive record we’ve ever released," he says. "The Devil Don’t Sleep’s all about knowing that even though things are really, really good, you got to stay on your toes. Temptation’s always there and the devil don’t sleep — and I don’t either."
