Faribault Police report they were dispatched this afternoon to an open field south of 30th street NW and Industrial Drive after a worker in the area discovered an unresponsive man laying in the snow.  The call came in at 1:47pm.  Faribault Police Chief Andy Bohlen tells KDHL the investigation continues and they will not release an identity until all relatives have been notified.  He did say the man was 23 and lived and worked in the area where he was found.  Chief Bohlen noted when officers arrived they noticed footprints in the snow leading up to where the man was found.  Chief Bohlen says there were no obvious signs of trauma and adds it's not known if the extreme cold played a factor in his death.  The Chief says, "Our department is actively investigating the case and will work with the medical examiner to learn the actual cause of death, which we hope can bring some sense of closure to the family in this young man's tragic death."
