The auctioning off of their furnishings of the closed Blooming Prairie Masonic Lodge will be Saturday, January 7, starting at 10AM. The auction was originally scheduled for December but called off due to the frigid conditions. The lodge is across the street from the Senior Center.

Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Blooming Prairie Veteran's Memorial. Among the items up for bids are 39 seats from the old theater along with 23 wooden captain's chairs. There will also be an electric organ along with an upright piano up for bids. Along with Masonic memorabilia, there will be numerous folding chairs, wood rocker, seven card tables and a large picture of George Washington. Kitchen furnishings along with other pictures and practical and useful items will be up for bids.
