It's almost time for the 15th annual Blooming Prairie Education Foundation Auction. To date the group has raised around $800,000 for the betterment of Blooming Prairie youth. There maybe two or three years away from hitting the million dollar mark. This year's auction is Saturday, March 24 at the Pizza Cellar and Cue Company. The silent auction which features many themed baskets begins at 3PM with the live auction at 6PM.

Some of the other items up for bids will include autographed baseballs from Joe Mauer and Byron Buxton. Other items include a hall tree, Swedish afghan, a wine tour along with quilts and many works of art made by Blooming Prairie students. There will also be several hours of rock picking and also a few hours of labor being offered up for bids by Blooming Prairie students. There's a 7 day stay at Breezy Point as well.

Funds raised go for a number of things such as technology updates, trips and experiences for students who attend Blooming Prairie schools.

You can keep updated on other items by going to the Blooming Prairie Education Foundation Facebook page.
