Blooming Prairie Celebrates Homecoming this Week

Blooming Prairie homecoming week has arrived. Coronation is Monday, October 3. Theme days are held through Friday with the football game versus Medford at 7PM.

Monday night's coronation begins at 7:30PM in the high school gym. Admission is $2, but free to those with a homecoming button. Homecoming queen candidates are Kylie Forystek, Laura Grant, Alison Pryor, Leah Schiefert and Courtney Wobschall. The king candidates include Elijah Baker, Bryan Fristedt, Wyatt Grundmeier, Camden Heimerman and Ben Smith.

Monday's dress-up day theme is pajamas. Tuesday is character day. Wednesday is decade day. Thursday is hillbilly day. Friday is Blooming Prairie spirit day.

A pepfest will be held Friday at 2PM. The homecoming parade is at 4:15PM. The game against Medford kicks off at 7PM with radio coverage on Kat Kountry 105FM. Those with a homecoming button get $1 off admission to the game. Buttons are available for $2 at the high school and elementary school.

A homecoming dance will be held in the gym after the game.
