The Steele County Blades have their last three games. This follows a 5-game winning streak. The Blades play three this weekend, including a Sunday night home game at Four Seasons.

The Blades weekend begins at Hudson (14-5) Friday night (Dec 5) at 7:30. Steele County won the first two meetings of the season against the Crusaders, but lost an 8-1 game last Friday in Owatonna.

Steele County goes to Forest Lake (13-8) Saturday(Dec 6) at 7:30. The Lakers won the only previous meeting between the two this season. The Lakers hold the distinction of being the only team to beat every team in the Minnesota Division. They are also the only team to lose to the expansion Ironwood, Michigan club.

The weekend wraps up with another battle against Hudson, Sunday (Dec 7) at 7:00pm at Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna.

Blades forward Nick Mead shares his thoughts about the season so far. Mead is from Thornton, Colorado and is in his final year of junior hockey. He played for Adamek in Wyoming.
