The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team outscored Lyle/Pacelli 40-29 in the second half Thursday for a 68-58 road victory. Four Awesome Blossoms reached double figures.

BP shot 56 percent on the night to turn a 29-28 halftime deficit into a win. They held the Athletics to just 31 percent shooting. Blooming Prairie was led by Gabe Hagen with 21 points. Max Romeo had 16, Seth Bedenbaugh scored 15 and Jake Ressler added 12. Blooming Prairie blocked seven shots. Blooming Prairie (10-13) ended a six-game losing streak with the win. BP hosts Faribault Bethlehem Academy on Monday night.
