Target Field become the first major league ball park to serve beer from a vending machine this past Sunday. Customers need to go to the concession stand with an ID and get a vending card before using the vending machine. They hope to have a second one in place by next weeks All Star game.

Here's some trivia for you..... Only one expansion team(1961 origin or newer) has a .500 or better record in their history. That team is the Angels. They reached the 4,272 and 4,272 record Monday night with their win. It was the first time since they were 1-1 in their first year in 61 that they had a lifetime mark of at least .500. The next closest is the Diamondbacks who are 25 games under .500 for their history.

I want a big woman!!!!  Here's an interesting story about former Twin Carlos Gomez who will be representing Milwaukee in the All Star game. Carlos' father was quite a ball player in the Dominican Republic. However, being just 5'8" he didn't stand a chance to make the majors. Carlos Sr set out to marry a big woman in hopes of having a larger son who just might inherit his baseball skills.  His union with 5'11" Belgika produced the 6'3" Carlos Jr who is now an All Star. Carlos also has a brother who stands 5'11" and a sister at 5'3"
