Hi! I grew up in the Twin Cities, but I consider myself to be citified small town country. Radio has taken me to northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. I am married to a great guy and we have 3 cats (or maybe they have us, we're not sure)! I volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Healthy Seniors and the local food shelf. I also try to give a bit to the Humane Society. Reading, Quilting and Sudoku are a few of my hobbies. Sports are cool too! I enjoy playing golf (the real kind, not video) and listen to or watch most of the rest...especially baseball. Go Twins!

Lisa’s Logic: Taking A Trip
Traveling by car sometimes does not agree with me, not too bad.
When I went on big trips for marching band, I would take a nice nap. It makes the trip go faster. You may miss some, but I didn't get car sick. I would sleep on some family trips too...

Lisa’s Logic: A Dressy Farewell
My husband and I went to visit his brother in Arcadia, Wis., where he is a band teacher. It was the school's Farewell Concert. This was the second concert we have seen him conduct. It is kind of cool.
The students graduate on Friday so like I wrote this is a Farewell Concert...
Getting Your Pooch Out and About in Southern Minnesota
The Twin Cities have many off-leash parks so dogs can burn lots of energy and socialize. You could also socialize. I'm sure your pooch would not mind. Hopefully you bring a ball to toss around just in case you happen to be the only ones there...
Lisa’s Logic: Prepare to Hug Kitty
Coming up next Friday, that's the 27th, it is Hug Your Cat Day, according to brownielocks.com. It is on the last Friday of May.
What's funny, when I clicked on the link they give you suggestions to watch out for the claws. Now some cats may not like to be hugged...
Putting It Back Together Again in Steele County
On my way to work, I've noticed a little house and garage getting some major work done. Sadly they even cut down really big trees.
Our neighbors are also doing some renovations to their house. Boy it seems they start one thing and it turns into a bigger project...
Lisa’s Logic: Where Will The Story Go
I'm reading The Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straub. It was written in 2001. It is a sequel to The Talisman, which was written in 1984. That is kind of a long time between books. It took a while for me to get into it but once I did, I am good to go...

Lisa’s Logic: There is a Tail in My Way
So obviously I was spending too much time on the computer this morning. But then it really was not any more or less time than normal. Today it was Zeke that was getting a little pushy. But he is cute and was purring, so he gets away with it...
