There have been plenty of discussions at water coolers over sports records that will never be broken. Here's one for you that can't be broken, and, in fact, it would take a near miracle just to tie it. Today, Feb. 11, marks the 110th anniversary of James Blackstone of Seattle bowling a 299 and a half. It's 1905 and Blackstone rolls his final frame. The ball knocks over nine pins and the 10th pin breaks in half! The base remains standing and hence he's a half-pin short of a 300. I surely doubt anyone will ever match that!
