A 61st Anniversary For Steele County

The first step in creating County Road 45 began this week in 1954.

[/caption]It's not the kind of anniversary you'd celebrate, but it was something that has affected many lives. On July 23, 1954, the condemnation of land along old Trunk Highway 65 began paving the way for the new County Road 45 South.
